As speech and debate team Co-Captain Anjali has mentored 15 freshmen & 5 sophomores twice a week in speech & provided structured feedback and personal mentorship to improve performance of each peer. Three of her Freshmen mentees placed in the Top 5 speakers at the New York State Competition, and 2 of her sophomore mentees were invited to partake in the National tournament. In addition to specific mentoring she helps organize the team of over 150 kids. While mentoring and organizing she has also had her own competing success. She was invited to go to Nationals twice where she Octa-Finalled in Varsity Extemporaneous Speech at the NCFL Grand National tournament in Washington, DC in June 2022. As of October 2023 Anjali is ranked #2 in New York and has a National rank of #72 for Varsity Extemporaneous Speech as listed by National Speech and Debate Organization
